Situated in Hamilton, Scotland, the George Taylor Foundry specialises in the manufacture of high-quality Spheroidal Graphite (Ductile), Cast (Grey) and Austempered (ADI) iron castings in a variety of grades. Supplying numerous industrial sectors within the UK and abroad, our jobbing / semi-repetition iron foundry manufactures castings ranging from 0.5 Kg to 3000 kg.
As part of our ongoing commitment in offering our customers the very best possible service, we are looking for a like minded Sales Executive due to an upcoming retirement.
You would be responsible for all sales and work directly with the Managing Director and closely with the Production Team. Ideally, you would be able to demonstrate some proven sales experience and working within a Foundry / Engineering / Manufacturing Environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Visit Customers / Prospects as and when required.
• Be in charge of sales quotes and their follow up
• Sales order contract review/processing.
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving skills.

Please note this position is full time, office based, we work 5 days in 4, Monday to Thursday
(37 hours). Holidays are 25 annual and 8 statutory. Full training would be provided.
