Connect Appointments are looking for Welder for a busy Recycling Operation in East Lothian area, near Musselburgh.
Rate of pay: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour (negotiable) with plenty of overtime available, paid at X1.5
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6pm to 6am
The Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, service and repair of heavy plant and machinery such as crushers, conveyors, shredders vibrating screens at a busy production/ manufacturing facility and getting them ready for the next day. Other maintenance tasks may be required depending on the needs.
Candidates:
Ideally, you will have good mechanical maintenance, fitting and fabrication experience preferably in heavy industry environments such as recycling, sites, mining or aggregates sectors.
You will be competent to carry out welding, cutting, burning and fabrication skills.
You will have good mig / stick welding skills.

Welding test will be carried out prior to starting the job. MIG and TIG.
