We are currently seeking a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join our team supporting our customers (offices, show rooms and holiday lets) in the Central belt of Scotland with a base at our Denny Head Office for meetings and training.
The roles will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm) on a permanent contract at a rate of £13.50 per hour and will have access to a pension scheme. Use of Company van.
Some flexibility is required to cover early morning or evening shifts and audits which will be agreed in advance were possible.
Main purpose of job: Supervising direct reports with commercial cleaning of client premises.
Position reports to: General Manager
Position is responsible for: Cleaning Operatives
Main duties
1. Influence and motivate direct reports to adhere to Company standards and policies and processes and manages under performance in line with Company policies.
2. Demonstrate strong health and safety example to direct reports in PPE compliance; being up-to-date with Health & Safety (H&S) Training and Company policies; using products safely; and complete H&S risk assessments and method statements on time.
Always represents Central Cleaning Services Ltd in a professional manner in client premises and responds swiftly and politely to customer queries.
Completes probationary/annual reviews, staff rotas and timesheets on time.
Ensure the cleanliness of client premises in accordance with Central Cleaning Services Ltd and client cleaning specifications including hoovering, mopping dusting and cleaning general areas.
Organise staffing cover for holiday and sickness absences and amend rotas.
Cover shifts with hands on cleaning if required.
Order stock and equipment for all clients’ premises.
Carry out and complete on-site cleaning audits.
Carry out on site induction for all new employees and over see their induction process.
Support senior management with absence management using Atlas database and recruitment of employees and workers.
Utilise appropriate equipment and cleaning materials in line with health and safety standards and ensures direct reports do too.
Ensures both self and direct reports have clean and appropriate PPE to be worn at all times in line with site risk assessments.
Ensures self and team correctly use colour coding for cleaning products and adhere to cleaning schedules.
Carry out good housekeeping (work area clean, tidy, products put away securely) and checks that direct reports are also tidy.
Pre-check electrical equipment and report any defects.
Maintains smart appearance in line with Company uniform guide and ensures direct reports are too.
Complete training and regular updates as required and on time in Atlas database and supports team to do so too.
Always ensures confidentiality regarding customer premises, direct reports and employees.
Communicate professionally and effectively with regional supervisor, team and management.
