The ice maker is functional and in good condition, only the tray that was placed at the bottom is missing, but it is not necessary for the device to work, nor does it protect against flooding. Sometimes, when taking out the cubes, ice crumbs can fall out and then, if there is a tray, they will condense on it. In the absence of a tray, they will remain on the kitchen counter. In my opinion, it is even easier to keep clean without this tray, because it is easier to wipe the even surface of the kitchen counter than to clean the tray. The last photo shows what the tray that I am missing looks like.
